Pretty striking! I like this and the way you created the feathers as well. I think the paleness of the skin is fine in this situation since he seems more like a creature of death it gives it a colder feeling of dread.
What I see as issues with this are fairly minor. For one the eyes are placed a bit too far up along the skull which causes the nose to stretch up further than it needs to. As well the shoulders are tilted too much for how far down the arms tilt as well. The left shoulder should be slightly raised in comparison but just not as much as it is which is creating an awkward look to it. Finally the only thing I can say about this that could use a bit of sprucing up is with the feathers along his body and that are making up the crow. They're just simply a silhouette which can be fine in some cases but since the character is shaded I think the feathers would benefit from some light shading as well. Just small indications of light along them similar to how there is near the right side wing would cause the entire piece to really jump out and shine.
